Position: Account Coordinator (Supplier Services)
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Location: Vaughan, ON
Annual Salary: $42,000 - $50,000
Purpose:
As a Account Coordinator, you will join our Supplier Services team where you will have the opportunity to gain experience learning about category, vendor, and brand/supplier relationship management. The Supplier Services team at UNFI fosters an environment of professional interaction with suppliers and delivers industry leading experiences, as part of a path to growth and profit for both UNFI and its supplier base. A critical role in our team, the Account Coordinator is the first point of contact for the Supplier Services division, engaging with our suppliers, vendors, and key internal stakeholders. You are responsible for assisting in delivering the division's key objectives, primarily through data maintenance, reporting and management of communications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data management; complete listing forms as part of product-set up. Ensure all information received is reviewed and validated for system.
- Manage multiple email inboxes; respond to all inquiries with vendors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
- Act as an expert to the business unit and demonstrate the ability to analyze, prevent, and solve problems.
- Establish, facilitate, and provide analytical insights to the Supplier Services team related to promotional and marketing vehicles.
- Recommend analytical solutions that enable a more complete understanding of customer's promotional behaviour within or across selected channels, markets, and programs.
- Work with Supplier Services Management to create/develop/deploy reports/tools to support the team. Uses and prepares Excel spreadsheets and documents related to pricing, item assortment, etc. for Supplier Services.
- Develop/Maintain user documentation/training on all tasks/responsibilities.
- Develop/Maintain accurate tracking/reporting for work-related tasks.
- Develop/Maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Interact with other departments to address issues, requests, and questions.
- Execute promotional events on behalf of suppliers and brokers.
- Actively participate in Trade Shows (ex. event set up, registration, tear down).
- Stay current with the latest technology and new trends in the CPG space.
- Develop Reporting as needed/requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
- Travel to Trade Shows when required.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification(s):
- Post Secondary Education in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent combination of experience and training.
Experience (Required/Preferred):
- Previous experience in a professional and busy office environment, within a related field desired.
Required Knowledge:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
- Thorough understanding of company products and services.
- Strong understanding of promotional elements, customer motivations, marketing functions, procedures, and standards.
- Strong customer service skills.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of MS Office applications and necessary functions to capture, execute, and translate data.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to translate data into meaningful and actionable recommendations.
- Ability to travel.
